The Truma Combi D4E is a versatile diesel and electric heater that’s perfect for larger motorhomes. It’s basically the diesel-powered sibling to the popular Combi 4E, featuring a high-quality burner that keeps you warm even while you’re on the move. Once you’re parked, you can easily switch to electric mode using a 230v power supply, so there’s no need to drain your vehicle battery.
You’ve got options depending on the weather: electric mode works great for mild days, diesel kicks in for colder weather, and if it’s seriously chilly, you can run both together for extra warmth. The Combi D4E heats your space quickly and also includes a 10-litre water tank that heats up alongside it, so you get hot water whenever you need it.
It’s compact, offers loads of installation options, and comes with an iNet control panel, exhaust ducting, a black cowl, JG water fittings, and a 6-meter data cable. Just a heads-up, internal ducting, fittings, and outlets are sold separately.
In terms of specs, it runs on diesel (EN 590 standard), pumps out between 2000 and 4000 watts on gas mode, 900 to 1800 watts on electric, and uses fuel at a rate of about 220 to 630 ml per hour depending on output. Power consumption varies with use, but it’s efficient overall, with a very low standby current.
